LUCKY SCHOOL - 11:43 - David Young and his wife Doris nearly wiped out an entire generation in Cokeville, Wyoming with a\their bomb of 25 sticks of dynamite and setting it off in a school.  Miraculously, all of the children whom they had taken hostage survived. A few were adamant about seeing what they called “a presence” hovering about their heads in the classroom just before the explosion.

 

MIRACLE OF LOURDES – 21:19 – In 1858, a teenage girl in Lourdes France is said to have had a vision of the Virgin Mary. The girl, Bernadette, dug into the ground with her hands and unearthed a spring that the Virgin Mary told her offered the promise of divine healing. Now, Lourdes, France is a sacred spot, the goal of millions of pilgrims and where profound miracles are believed to occur.

 

FERTILITY STATUES – 6:33 – Two statues, five feet tall, ebony, from West Africa seems to have an affect on fertility of women who work at the Ripley’s Museum in Orlando, Florida. According to the Baoule Tribe, the statues – a man and a woman – are imbued with an incredible power, the spirit of fertility. So far 143 pregnancies, many of them by women trying unsuccessfully to conceive, have been reported by people who have touched the two statues to increase their chances.

 

SHROUD OF TURIN – 15:35 – A masterful painting, with no visible brushstrokes, of Christ’s image on an ancient piece of cloth has baffled experts for Centuries. The legend is that the painting on the Vatican's Shroud of Turin (the cloth believed to have wrapped Christ's body after he was crucified) was miraculously imprinted his face just moments after death. A computer analysis shows that originally the image was imprinted in 3D. However, Carbon 14 test results suggest it was painted dates between 1290 & 1360 A.D.  Other evidence presents even more controversy.

 

ICE WOMAN – 10:08 - Jean Hilliard was frozen solid in Minnesota.   She was fully revived and unscathed.  She attributes her recovery to a “Prayer Chain” put together by her friends and family.

 

LUCKY CHOIR – 7:13 – In 1951 the Beatrice, Nebraska West Side Baptist Church was completely destroyed in a blast caused by a gas leak. But because of a series of unrelated circumstances and delays all twelve members of the choir, who were regularly scheduled to rehearse at that time, were late and were therefore spared from the blast. They still believe their lives were saved by an act of God

 

COMA HEALER – 8:11 – In 1987, three-year-old Audrey Santo lapsed into a coma after nearly drowning.  She is now in a state called akinetic mutism: a coma like state in which she may – or may not- know what is going on around her. Within months, drops of oil began appearing mysteriously on religious artifacts places around the house by her devoutly religious family. Several people are said to have been healed after being anointed with the oil. Many Catholics believe that she is responsible for several miracles. Her case is currently under examination by the Catholic Church.

 

ANGELS – 11:07 – Do angels dwell among us? Two women with incredible stories believe that celestial intervention saved them from certain death.

MIRACLE OF FATIMA – 18:11 – Three young girls in rural Portugal in 1917 claimed the Virgin Mary visited them several times to talk to them and gave prophecies of the future which turned out to be accurate. During the controversy that followed, they said Mary would appear again on October 13, 1917.  On that day, 70,000 people witnessed strange celestial phenomena: an undulating sun, ribbons of multi colored light across the sky, and the sun changed its course and then returned to its normal space in the sky. Fatima is one of the most revered shrines in all of Catholicism.

 

BABY’S BREATH – 11:28 – Couple give birth to baby born with no vital signs. An emergency medical team tries desperately to revive him, but after 33 minutes, he was officially declared dead. The family gave permission for an autopsy, but first they were given time to say their good byes. They go to the morgue to hold him and, suddenly, he begins to breathe.  The six doctors and eight nurses are baffled at his recovery and believe they witnessed a miracle.

 

HEALING FROM THE GRAVE – 7:02 – 12-year-old girl dies in 1959 of leukemia offering to suffer for others.  As word spread of her saintly ways, and thousands gather for an annual Mass in her memory. Many people claim to have prayed for her and been healed, including a 21 year old victim of colon cancer whose cure defied medical science. 

 

POWERS OF PRAYER - 12:22 – A woman with breast cancer facing a radical mastectomy, a little boy with a terminal case of liver disease: in both cases, each was cured before medical intervention, but after their families and friends held prayer vigils.

 

CANDY AND ROXY – 7:31 – While near death from terminal cancer, Candy has a vision of her sister Roxy urging her to stay alive.  Candy’s cancer goes into remission. 

 

TRISH’S MIRACLE – 9:54– Trish Zemba suffered a debilitating nerve disorder that caused her unspeakable pain.  The day before drastic surgery, the pain left her body.  Trish and her family attribute her recovery to the infinite power of faith.

 

FATHER SOLANUS CASEY – 11:30 –For half a century, Father Solanus Casey was a humble doorkeeper at his church. After his death in 1956, many terminally ill people who prayed to Father Solanus, asking him to beseech God for help, believe they were healed because of his intervention.  The Vatican is considering hi for sainthood.

 

CHRISTMAS MIRACLE – 12:52 – Just before Christmas, 1982, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 7 year‑old Chucky McGivern came down with a case of chicken pox.

In three days, he lapsed into a coma and was re-diagnosed with a rare, fatal disease that attacks the brain, liver, and central nervous system. Family and friends maintained a round-the-clock prayer vigil and a preist administered last rights. Someone scotch taped a picture of St. John Neuman to his hospital wall. In an hour, Chuckie was off life support, talking, and sitting up in bed.  But the family and doctors never found out who taped the picture to the wall.

MEDJUGORJE MIRACLES – 16:26 - In 1981 six Yugoslavian teenagers reported seeing image of Virgin Mary. Since then, millions of pilgrims flock to the tiny village of Medjugorje, hoping to have prayers answered and seeking miracle cures. 

 

POLICE WOMAN SAVIOR – 5:40 - Doris Smith, a deputy for the Miller County Sheriff's Department, lost control of a prisoner.  Two unidentified men in a blue pick-up truck helped her and disappeared without a trace.

 

HEALING TOUCH – 15:28 – Therapeutic touch is an alternative healing technique that practitioners believe can help in some cases where conventional medicine falters.

 

MIRACLE STAIRCASE - 7:55 - In 1878 an unknown carpenter built a freestanding, spiral staircase in the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, that was an engineering feat far ahead of its time.  The Sisters believe the carpenter was Joseph himself.

 

MIRACLE CHILD – 11:39 – Seven-year old Kristina Smith was stricken with a mysterious brain ailment that had earlier killed two members of her family. She was in coma for five months then by a "miracle" came out of coma.

 

KENTUCKY VISIONS – 8:10 – Twice a month, on the 2nd and 23rd, people flock to a small hillside in Springfield, Kentucky where visions of Mary appear.

 

LIFE SAVING PETS - 10:33 - Do dogs have the power to detect when their owners are ill? We meet two dogs whose owners claim they saved their lives

 

MIRACLE BUFFALO – 7:35 – An all white, non-albino, buffalo calf is born and named Miracle.  To the Lakotas, "Miracle" was an ancient prophecy come true.  It is believed to usher in a period of peace and harmony.

 

COMA RECOVERY – 9:05 – 1987 Don Hamilton accidentally shot himself while hunting near his home in Minnesota. Left stranded in tree for hours before help arrived, Don was rushed to hospital in deep coma. Considered brain dead with no chance of recovery, Don has made an almost miraculous comeback that has astounded the medical community.

IMAGE OF GUADALUPE – 12:20 – Our Lady of Guadalupe, which many believe was created by a miracle, is examined.  Despite extensive scientific research, many wonder if the mystery of the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe will ever be solved.

 

CAR CRASH LAZARUS – 8:47 – David Shublak was hit by a car and pronounced brain dead, but was revived through prayer and is considered a modern day Lazarus.

 

M.S. MIRACLE – 11:24 – Mary Clamser suffered from debilitating multiple sclerosis for years until she was struck by lightning and regained use of her legs.

 

PADRE PIO – 17:23 – In 1918, Padre Pio was 31 he had a vision of Jesus and received Stigmata wounds – it has been documented that his hands, feet and side were bleeding in the manner of Christ on the cross.  Many believe the vision gave Padre Pio the power to heal the sick, and the stories of people miraculously healed are convincing evidence.

 

CHRISTMAS MIRACLE BABY – 11:02 – A two month old baby is stricken with Wolman’s disease, a fatal illness with no cure.  Two days before Christmas, an uncle visits and puts his hand on the baby’s stomach, saying a prayer. Almost immediately, the baby starts eating formula and is on her way to a complete recovery.  The uncle, a non-religious person, explains that a powerful voice had urged him to go over to their house and pray.

 

MIRACLE CROSS – 14:40 – Some parishioners at the Holy Trinity Church in Ambridge, PA believe the eyes on their statue of Jesus closed during a Good Friday service last March 1989.  Refurbishing painter claims eyes were half open when he last worked on it.

 

SIGNS FROM HEAVEN – 9:56 – Various examples where signs from heaven are given, including one where Michael Landon’s stepdaughter, Cheryl, describes how his spirit spoke to her during a very trying crisis, and left an ethereal sign fro her in New York’s Central Park.

 

MONEY FROM HEAVEN – 4:40 – $6500 in twenty dollar bills dropped out of the sky and landed in the Jameson’s back yard.  It was possibly drug money dropped from an airplane, but ultimately theirs to keep.
